Card sizes
Before printing a card, it is important to understand what size will better serve your needs, as there are several sizes from which you can choose.
These are the most common sizes you’ll find:
CR-80
The CR-80 is the most common card size you can find.
Generally, they are used for national ID cards, financial cards and many others.
Card dimensions:
- 3.370″ x 2.125″
CR-50
The CR-50 is commonly used for door access systems.
As they are smaller than the CR-80, their use is more comfortable for this purpose.
Card dimensions:
- 3.5″ x 1.75″
CR-79
This format of plastic cards is slightly smaller than the common CR-80.
These are generally applied when in need of proximity cards.
Card dimensions:
- 3.303″ x 2.051″
CR-100
The CR-100 format is very popular for ID badges.
As they’re bigger than the common CR-80, this format becomes more comfortable to be read when used for identification on site.
Card dimensions:
- 3.88″ x 2.63″
